Château Fortia Édmée Le Roy Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc
K osobnímu odběru: 1ks (Bucharova 2657/12, Praha)
Zatímco červené směsi jižní Rhôny jsou v této části Francie mnohem běžnější, bílá vína jsou zahrnuta v několika pozoruhodných apelacích v regionu. Chateauneuf-du-Pape Blanc je nejslavnější z nich, používá Grenache Blanc, Roussanne a Clairette a malou hrstku obskurních místních odrůd. Bílá vína Cotes du Rhone používají podobnou směs, často spolu s Marsanne a Viognier.

12 February 2021
Distinct and floral bouquet
Melon, straw, grapefruit and lemon slices.
Lighter finish.
Love the front end, and it is potent with a classic Rhone roundness to it.
Drink young.
Grace Hahn

Green apple, lemon and lime, medium to full body, with a lovely long finish. Lots to like, complex but still easy drinking...yum!

20 April 2023
Herbaceous and vegetal on the nose, lime, stone fruits, green apple, high minerality, on the palate. Good aging potential. Possibly honey and dried fruits evolution.
Easy food associated.

This wine is ruby with deep intensity. The wine has aromas of blackberry, black current, cedar, clove, and tobacco. The wine and s dry. The wine is high in acid and high tannins. The wine has flavors of dark fruit and baking spices with Forrest floor and tobacco. The wine has a long pull. This is an outstanding wine

Tried in 07/2023. Clear, pale gold color with secondary green hues, but it’s dark at the restaurant, so take that with a grain of salt. Subtle aromas of melon, green pear, citrus, honeysuckle, orange blossom, yeast, on the nose. Medium acidity, rounder texture, clean and refreshing.

Complex baby with bold quince, green apple nectarine and rock melon
A tad alcohol overstretch but layers of complex flavours, minerals yellow plum and Nashi pear. Honey and almond skin and so much going on yet needing time to knit together. Infant.
