Bright yellow, medium bodied. Passion fruit all over aromas and palate. Some lime zest, but jusr a hint. No acidity, but a great personality and really, really delicious.
Deserves a full bottle.

Not quite right with Sichuan, but maybe that's on me! Tropical notes and some oak. May revisit as it was nice and easy drinking!

I finally try this Lugana, what a white!
Peach, apple and a tiny citrus note, very good persistence, this is exactly the kind of white I wanna have dinner with.
Tried with fish crudité, which I usually like pairing with an even more fruity white like Gewurtztraminer, but I have to say this was an excellent combo too and it has been a delicious companion for the rest of the fish dinner too.
This deserves all its 4 stars, but I'm gonna give it an extra 0.5 for the positive vibes I had while drinking it!

Until a few years ago, Lugana was considered just another flyweight among italian whites. Then the great commercial success in Northern Europe, parallel to the qualitative growth. Today it's one of the most popular Italian whites abroad. This one in particular has almost become a classic. Nose full of pleasant hints of peaches and golden apples on a relevant smoky background. The palate is dynamic, broad and enveloping, with great freshness. Sapidity and minerality emerge in the finish. Tasty. And sly...

2017 tasted March 2023. Pale yellow, transparent rim. Rich aromas of apricots, yellow apples, passion fruit and slight minerality along with mild citrus notes on the nose. Brolettino is medium-bodied and the apricot, apple, passion fruit, lemon and pineapple flavours are also rich, the wine leans a bit to the off-dry side and has a nice mildly acidic and dusty finish. Went well with veggie quiche, the red capsicums were quite aromatic and this Lugana was a good match for them.
