Heavy notes of spice yet strong undertones of blackberry and plum. Accompanied well with a fatty steak or lamb. The vines are clearly cultured with the outmost care and respect. Fantastic wine!

Too spicy. As we all know I don’t like that.

Terrific flavours of red berry and cigar box... A bit thin. Four hour decant might have been too long. Complement to a pepper steak was five star but a little thin and acidic alone while the structure was flimsy more than delicate.

What a lovely white Bordeaux. Extremely elegant fruit, rather voluminous body with a perfectly integrated hints of vanilla and oak. All balanced by a bright acidity. Tasted yesterday at the Stockholm Food and Wine Fair.

Oaky elegant nose, vanilla, floral, fruity and dried apricots, star anise, yet toned, not overly empowered. A very French nose. The palate is delicate, of subtle reused French oak (the best kind), softer on the palate, a hint of pepper, macadamia, and dark fruits, dark berries, dried wood chips, black currants, black peppercorn. A pleasant finish, with hints of pencil shavings and truffle on the rind. A very well balanced wine. (4.25)

This is a pleasant and accessible Graves red, showing a good overall balance of ripeness, spices, earthiness and a fresher herbaceous side. Dark cherries, blackcurrants and plums are held together by soft vanilla and liquorice, before revealing notes of bell pepper and crushed peppercorns. Medium tannins give good grip on the palate, balanced out by good acidity, lively fruit, smooth spices and an earthy, slightly resinous character. A good pairing with each of the cooking methods of our 'beef three ways'.
