Gran Lurton, Cabernet Sauvignon Grand Reserva

Beautiful wine overall, pleasant on the nose, the bouquet is full of aroma. It’s like when you are in a long-term but loving relationship, you know what you’re about to get, yet it still hits the right note, every single time. On the taste, it is dry, very dry and bold; slightly more acidic for my plate. Very earthy with blackberries notes. If I was critical, the length could be better. It stays in the mouth for some time, but before you know it, it’s time to put the pants back on, and go on to work...

Great value. Have enjoyed more than 20 bottles of this Cabernet and it has never disappointed. 2013 is exceptional. One of my favorites for sure.

Nice and powerful red with a rich smell and strong taste, perfect for the likes of blackened lamb and game.

4,0 stars. An excellent Cabernet, that will continue improving. Well balanced, elegant, not overpowered. Nose of perfumed elegant cassis, plum, cherry, herbs & tea spices. Creamy texture, full of bold chewy tannins, backed by well balanced fresh acidity. On the palate, inky lactic cassis, oak toast & plum. Long lingering finish of spices in cassis . Lovely!

This is my second cab sav from Argentina and I am impressed. I thought I was drinking a high end Malbec. Very smooth good finish.

Bold and dry. Lots of taste. Needs air to open up. Blackcurrant, tobacco and oak on the palate. Smooth tannins. Delightful finish.
